Princess Chelsea
Today Princess Chelsea is proud to announce the Everything Is Going To Be Alright tour of Aotearoa, NZ. These shows promise to be red hot, with Chelsea and her live band returning fresh off a tour of the UK & Europe, and a live session at the illustrious Abbey Road Studios. This will be the first time fans get to sing along to the new tracks from Princess Chelsea's upcoming album Everything Is Going To Be Alright, due October 7th via Lil' Chief Records.
Happening throughout December, the Everything Is Going To Be Alright tour promises to be one of the biggest and best of her career. The shows will be a sensory explosion full of elaborately stage dressings, live visuals and at least five synthesisers and three glockenspiels.
Fans can expect Princess Chelsea to rip through the future classics from her new album Everything Is Going To Be Alright, as well as pepper in favourites from her iconic back catalogue - she also promises a full length cover of Guns N' Roses' November Rain too as she understands her Powerstation show clashes with GN'R show taking place on the same night .
Those lucky enough to see Princess Chelsea's sold out show in April know that her live performance is a remarkably different experience to her recorded output (expect to be surprised). Her live band includes some of Tāmaki Makaurau's best and brightest musicians; Joshua-Worthington Church (Galaxy Bear), David Harris (Sulfate), Jasmine Balmer (Being.), Joe Kaptein (Muroki) and Simeon Kavangh-Vincent (Lucky Boy^, Phoebe Rings).
Joining Princess Chelsea on all four dates is Ōtautahi's Mousey, who released her critically acclaimed indie rock album My Friends earlier in the year. Described by Undertheradar as "glorious, explosive jangly power-pop," and the NZ Listener as "immensely catchy, memorable pop-rock" you'll want to be at the show as soon as doors open.
