Trentemøller
TRENTEMØLLER today announced a headlining show at Auckland’s Powerstation on Saturday June 17 and marking the first time the legendary musician will grace Aotearoa’s shores.
Danish musician Anders Trentemøller is known for pushing boundaries via ambitious full-lengths and live shows. Since his 1997 origins performing in Copenhagen’s nightclubs to releasing his first EP in 2003 and the critically acclaimed
debut album The Last Resort in 2006, Trentemøller has been a staple of left-field electronica for over 25 years.
Trentemøller’s debut NZ shows come off the back of 2022 studio-album Memoria, and will be performed alongside acarefully curated 4-piece live band. Icelandic solo artist Disa performs vocals/guitar and possesses an ethereal voice to perform Memoria’s haunting vocal melodies, Silas Tinglef who releases solo music as 2nd Blood is on drums, Brian Batz, the man behind dream pop/shoegaze band Sleep Party People, is on guitar and Jacob Haubjerg, who has long been playing with bands like Sleep Party People and Savage Rose, takes care of bass.
Don’t miss Trentemøller’s debut NZ show this June.
